With high-value merchandise displayed at the front of Verizon store locations, smash and grab theft started to grow rampant. Over the past few years, Verizon has tried to come up with solutions to keep their devices anchored down and protected from theft. After months of coming up with short-term "quick fixes," nothing worked and it eventually led to thieves stealing entire shelves of merchandise, the team at Verizon turned to our team at shopPOPdisplays for a fast and reliable display solution that would help solve this major issue that was costing their company a severe loss in revenue.
Our Solution
At the start of April 2018, our team at shopPOPdisplays partnered with Verizon to listen to their current set of challenges and develop a reliable, long-lasting solution. After explaining to our team of designers and engineers what they specifically wanted, we designed a robust fixture for 40 different locations in less than a month. By the end of April 2018, our Feature Cube Security System was engineered and distributed to Verizon with steel beams to ensure that all devices would be safely and securely anchored down at all times.
